Quick Eatz Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 29 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Quick Eatz mobile application and website at https://www.quickeatz.co.uk.

Quick Eatz is a trading name of Q Eatz Ltd (“Quick Eatz”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account, using Quick Eatz or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Quick Eatz’s role

Quick Eatz operates an online platform that connects customers with participating restaurants, takeaways, grocery stores, convenience stores and other shops (“Partners”).

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the contract for the preparation, sale and fulfilment of an order is between you and the relevant Partner. The Partner is responsible for its products, menus, prices, availability, preparation, packaging and compliance with applicable laws.

Quick Eatz provides the technology used to browse Partners, submit orders, process available payment options and receive order updates.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be aged 18 or over to create an account or use Quick Eatz.
  • You must provide accurate and current information.
  • You must keep your login details secure.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it resulted from a security failure for which we are responsible.
  • You must notify us promptly if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.
  • We may request reasonable information to verify your identity or protect your account.
  • You may request account deletion from Account → Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete Account or through https://www.quickeatz.co.uk/account-deletion.

Deleting your account will not require us to remove information that must be retained for legal, accounting, tax, payment-dispute, fraud-prevention or regulatory purposes. Where possible, retained records will be restricted or anonymised.

3. Partners and product information

Partners are responsible for keeping their menus, products, prices, descriptions, ingredients, availability, opening times and delivery areas accurate.

Product photographs are illustrative and the appearance of an item may vary.

A Partner may withdraw an unavailable product. A substitution should only be made where you have agreed to substitutions or approved the replacement.

Quick Eatz may remove or restrict listings that appear unlawful, unsafe, misleading or contrary to our policies.

4. Placing an order

Before submitting an order, you must check:

  • The selected Partner and branch
  • The products and quantities
  • Allergy or dietary information
  • Delivery or collection
  • Delivery address
  • Requested time
  • Payment method
  • Charges and total price

When you submit an order, Quick Eatz sends it to the selected Partner. An order is not confirmed until the Partner accepts it.

If the Partner rejects or cannot fulfil the order, any card payment already taken will be cancelled or refunded to the original payment method.

Pre-orders are subject to the Partner’s opening hours and availability. A requested time is not guaranteed until accepted.

5. Prices, charges and payment

All prices and mandatory charges will be displayed before you confirm the order.

The total may include:

  • Product prices
  • Delivery charges
  • Service or platform charges
  • Tips
  • Taxes or other charges required by law

In-person card payments are processed securely through Tapaya (Tap to Pay). Quick Eatz does not store your complete card number or card security code.

By choosing card payment, you authorise the payment provider to charge the displayed total.

Some Partners may offer cash on collection or cash on delivery. Cash availability is controlled by the Partner and may not be offered for every order.

If a payment is declined, the order may not be submitted or confirmed.

6. Delivery and collection

Orders may be delivered by a Partner’s own driver or a Q Eatz Network Driver.

Delivery and collection times are estimates. They may be affected by preparation time, demand, traffic, weather, distance and circumstances outside reasonable control.

You must:

  • Provide a complete and accurate address
  • Provide a working telephone number
  • Be available to receive the order
  • Provide safe and reasonable access
  • Follow age-verification requirements
  • Check that you have received the correct order as soon as reasonably possible

If nobody answers, the driver or Partner may attempt to contact you. Additional charges or refusal of a refund may apply where delivery cannot be completed because the address was incorrect, access was unavailable or nobody was present, subject to your statutory rights.

Collection customers must arrive at the correct Partner and provide any order information reasonably requested.

7. Alcohol and age-restricted products

Alcohol is available only from participating Partners that are authorised and licensed to sell it.

Alcohol may only be ordered and received by somebody aged 18 or over.

By ordering alcohol, you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or over.
  • An adult aged 18 or over will personally receive or collect the order.
  • Valid photographic identification will be provided when requested.
  • You understand that Challenge 25 may apply.

Acceptable identification may include:

  • A passport
  • A UK photocard driving licence
  • A proof-of-age card displaying the PASS hologram
  • Another legally acceptable form of photographic proof of age

The driver or Partner may refuse to supply alcohol where:

  • The recipient is under 18.
  • The recipient appears under 25 and cannot provide acceptable identification.
  • The identification appears invalid or does not belong to the recipient.
  • The recipient appears intoxicated.
  • No responsible adult is present.
  • Delivery would breach licensing conditions or applicable law.
  • Delivery cannot be completed safely.

Alcohol will not be left unattended, in a safe place, at the door or with a person under 18.

The same age-verification rules apply to delivery and collection orders, including orders fulfilled by Partner drivers and Q Eatz Network Drivers.

Alcohol availability is subject to the Partner’s licensed hours. An alcohol product may become unavailable even if other products remain available.

If alcohol is refused because the customer cannot satisfy the age-verification requirements, the alcohol will be returned to the Partner. Refunds and deductions will be handled according to applicable law and the cancellation information displayed at checkout. Reasonable delivery or return costs may be deducted where legally permitted.

It is prohibited to purchase alcohol for somebody under 18.

Partners must not list tobacco, vaping products, controlled substances or other prohibited goods where their sale through Quick Eatz would breach applicable law or platform policy.

8. Allergies and dietary requirements

Partners are responsible for providing legally required allergen and product information.

If you have an allergy or important dietary requirement:

  • Read the available allergen information carefully.
  • Contact the Partner directly before ordering.
  • Explain the allergy or requirement clearly.
  • Do not rely solely on photographs, product names, filters or previous orders.

Partners may use shared preparation areas, equipment and ingredients. They may therefore be unable to guarantee that a product is completely free from traces of an allergen.

If your allergy is severe, consider whether ordering remotely is appropriate and seek confirmation directly from the Partner.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for inaccurate information or errors where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

9. Cancellations, problems and refunds

You may request cancellation before the Partner accepts the order.

Once the Partner has accepted the order or started preparing perishable or made-to-order products, cancellation may not be possible.

The usual statutory cooling-off period may not apply to:

  • Food and other products that deteriorate rapidly
  • Sealed hygiene-sensitive goods once opened
  • Goods made to your specification
  • Services connected to a specific delivery or collection time

This does not affect your rights where products are faulty, unsafe, missing or not as described.

If there is a problem with an order:

  1. Contact the Partner first using the details provided with the order.
  2. Give the Partner a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
  3. Contact Quick Eatz through support@qeatz.co.uk if the Partner cannot resolve it or if the issue concerns the Quick Eatz platform or payment.

Refunds approved for card payments will normally be returned to the original payment method. The time taken to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.

We may request photographs, order details or other reasonable evidence before deciding a complaint or refund request.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your statutory consumer rights.

10. Loyalty points, offers and promotions

Loyalty schemes and promotions may be offered by Quick Eatz or individual Partners.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Loyalty points have no cash value.
  • Points cannot be transferred or sold.
  • Offers are subject to availability and stated conditions.
  • Offers cannot be combined unless expressly permitted.
  • A Partner may change or end its own loyalty scheme.
  • Fraudulent use may result in points or promotional credit being removed.

Any important expiry date or restriction should be displayed with the offer.

11. Reviews and customer content

If Quick Eatz allows reviews, ratings, photographs or other customer submissions, you must ensure they are honest, lawful and based on a genuine experience.

You must not submit content that:

  • Is false or misleading
  • Contains abusive, threatening or discriminatory language
  • Violates another person’s privacy
  • Infringes intellectual-property rights
  • Promotes unlawful activity
  • Contains spam or unrelated advertising

We may moderate or remove content that breaches these Terms.

12. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use Quick Eatz unlawfully or fraudulently
  • Provide false identity, payment or delivery information
  • Attempt chargeback or refund fraud
  • Abuse, threaten or harass Partners, drivers, staff or other users
  • Interfere with the app, website, security or payment systems
  • Attempt to access another person’s account
  • Use automated systems to scrape or overload the service
  • Purchase age-restricted products for a minor
  • Resell services or content without permission

We may restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Partners, drivers, Quick Eatz or the public.

13. Intellectual property

The Quick Eatz name, logo, app, website, software, layout and original content are owned by or licensed to Q Eatz Ltd.

You may use Quick Eatz only for personal, lawful ordering purposes. You must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit protected materials without written permission.

Partners retain responsibility for and rights to their own names, trademarks, menus, photographs and product information.

14. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Quick Eatz available and secure, but continuous or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

We may update, maintain, suspend or change parts of the service where reasonably necessary. We will try to minimise disruption and provide notice of material changes where appropriate.

Features, Partners and delivery coverage may vary by location.

15. Privacy and communications

Our handling of personal information is explained in the Quick Eatz Privacy Policy:

https://www.quickeatz.co.uk/privacy-policy

We may send essential communications relating to:

  • Account security
  • Orders and deliveries
  • Payments and refunds
  • Changes to these Terms
  • Privacy or legal notices

Marketing communications will be sent only where permitted. You can manage eligible marketing preferences without disabling essential service messages.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded

Quick Eatz is responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or by our breach of these Terms.

Quick Eatz is not responsible for loss caused solely by:

  • A Partner’s preparation or fulfilment failure
  • Incorrect information supplied by you
  • Your failure to follow allergy or age-verification instructions
  • Events outside our reasonable control
  • Business or commercial use of a consumer account

The Partner remains responsible for the products it sells, subject to your legal rights against the Partner and any responsibility Quick Eatz may independently have.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, regulation, payment arrangements or security requirements.

The “Last updated” date shows when the Terms were most recently changed.

Where a change materially affects customers, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Scots law.

If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections provided by the law where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts of that part of the United Kingdom.

Please contact the Partner first about food, products, preparation, delivery or collection. Contact Quick Eatz where the Partner cannot resolve the issue or where the complaint concerns the Quick Eatz platform, payment or support service.
